how good an author Aleatha is. Not only does she give us such an intense
thriller but there is always that little bit of hope and anticipation that
things will turn out that keeps you reading well into the twilight hours.
It is somewhat disturbing that when you meet
Aleatha she is the loveliest of women then you read her books and think, “how
did this come out of her lovely head”? Aleatha surprises us every time she
brings out a new book.
I can guarantee that while reading this book you
will think you have the plot figured out, I make that mistake all the time and,
in this book, I was feeling quietly confident I knew what was around the
corner, well I couldn’t have been more wrong than I was. The twists this book
takes on are just pure pleasure and a work or art.
I loved how so many characters were integrated into
this book, everyone had something to say and do, no one was just there for the
sake of it.
I loved how you can get so immersed with this book
you forget the world around you and let’s face it we all need an escape from
time to time, although you do need a strong stomach with this book as nothing
is out of bounds with this story.
There are dark thrillers out there and some you
read you feel there is something missing, well with this book, nothing is
missing, the intensity of the characters, the plot, the thrilling race of your
heart while you read will keep you in perpetual suspense until you get to the
end, then when you do, sit back for a minute, take it all in and read the
ending again, that is all I can say, it is a mind blowing, superior written
story that will take you a while to ever forget.
Aleatha takes her written to a whole new level with
this book, her dark thriller side is exceptional and growing more in every book
that she writes.
I would highly recommend this and every other book
Aleatha Romig writes.

Meet Aleatha Romig
Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis.
