of Ashes comes a Phoenix soaring in the sky beginning a new life.
This book ignites the spark
that you felt from the very first book.
All the questions you may have
had while reading the 1st & 2nd book are answered in
this 3rd book, there are more explanations on the life before
Patrick and Maddie found each other and I felt this was not only eye opening on
what life was like for Maddie but also what she endured and how strong a
character she was.
It is hard not to get hooked on
a character or a story but with Aleatha’s writing that is all you can do. She
has a way of dangling a hook and then reeling you in so all you do is keep
reading and keep getting submerged with her stories.
This book is full of emotion
and throughout reading Patrick & Maddie’s story you go through them all, I
cried, laughed, held my breath and even at times got angry while reading this
story, however, I must say, I was angry with a character not the book but this
story does go into a bit more on what goes on in some countries and reveals
what some shady people can be like and it was an eye opener that these things
go on even to this day.
I always thought Sterling Sparrow was the most intense person but Patrick is right there with him and like all the men in these books, he will move heaven and earth to protect his family and extended family. I admire Patrick and all the men in this series. They are Alpha men, but they are strong, and family orientated and that shows in every page of this book.

Maddie is a strong women and
let’s face it all the women in this series need to be strong to put up with
their men, she is strong willed but she has an amazing heart and loves deeply which
is shown throughout this book.
I loved this series and
Patrick’s story and I would urge you to read the whole series now, you will not
regret it. I would love to say more but I cannot without giving away too much
so I am just going to say this is a sure fire 5 start read.
