**5 STAR REVIEW** BLACK TANGLED HEART by Samantha Young

By Samantha YoungOUT NOW.

To my siblings, Jane was a friend. A pseudo-sister, the girl we grew up with.
To me? She was everything.
Our passion consumed us.
When our world fell apart, I thought our love would be the thing that held us together.
She was the love of my life. But she abandoned me when I needed her most.
And I'll never forgive her.
For years I've been planning my revenge against the people who took everything from me.
Jane won't be an exception. I’m coming for her.
She knows it.
She says she wants to help me serve my version of justice on the people who hurt me.
I'll let her.
She probably thinks it will save her from me.
It won't.

Sensational!

People who know me, know I love Samantha Young and her stories and this series to me was just sensational, every story written has just been a great joy to read.

I always love how not only in this book but in every book Samantha writes, you feel what the characters are feeling, you live their fears, dreams, anxiety, love and laughter and in Black Tangled Heart, Oh my word, you felt everything.  I was hooked from the prologue and it just got better and better the more I read.  I could not absorb this story quick enough.

I have found that in a lot of Samantha’s books you come across issues that are real to life and current to our world and that to me makes the stories more relatable.  The only thing is I get too involved with the characters that I get carried away with them.

I love that no matter what, there will be something in this book that you can relate to as the reader.  I found that while reading this book, I could believe that so many other people will love this book because of the relatable factor to certain issues that should be talked about and until now have always been thought of as taboo subjects, Mental Health for one.

Samantha Young does not shy away from bringing these topics out in the open for everyone to read and discuss.

I loved Jane and Jamie in this book.  The emotions these two went through and in particularly Jane just to me made the book feel so real.  The love they had was real to me.

Jane was such a strong person who no matter what happened to her she just dealt with it all.

Jane was the kind of women who didn’t let a man define her, yes she loved Jamie and yes that was one of those once in a lifetime kind of love but what struck me was how strong Jane was and knowing that if Jamie didn’t turn out to be the love of her life, well she would get over that and deal with it in the way she knew how.  She was not defined by a man.

I am sure everyone will love this from Jane, but I had to highlight it as it was so true.

“For a moment, I didn’t know whether to be angry or heartbroken or understanding or defeated. Then it hit me. I could be all those things. But I’d survive them.”

I will leave you wondering now what happened with Jane and Jamie.  Do they get their HEA? Are they still together? The only way to find out is to read this amazing book.

I loved this book and I think you will too.

ARC given for honest review.
