I have heard great things about this author so was pleased to have the opportunity to read this book.

I found that the way AL Jacksons writes is very flowing; there were no points where I was confused or felt the storyline drifted which is a great treat.

Some of the phrases that this author comes out within this story just captivates you and can be very thought provoking like this one which just touched me and actually made me think and believe how true the words were not only in this story but could be applied to most people

Ash I found to be one of those guys who is laid back, easy going and happy to go with the flow. He is a people person and a guy you would want to hang around with no matter what, he always will have your back, keeps you laughing but be your rock all at the same time that is the surface of Ash though. When you look deeper you see a different side to him, one that haunts him to the extent where he feels he does not deserve happiness.

It is when you read the flashbacks that will break your heart, this is what stems Ash to the point where he feels he does not deserve love, happiness and I did find myself breaking my heart with him. I just wanted to dive in and throw my arms around him and tell him he deserves love, happiness and a good life.

There is a bright side and that is Willow, she is just lovely, she is all right for Ash, strong in her won right but someone who you knew would be there for Ash. Willow is so sweet and the kind of girl who would do anything for her friends, loved ones, that you know deep down she is a good catch. The two are perfect for each other. I am no saying Willow is all sunshine and roses but together hopefully they find a way to heal each other and become stronger.

Although I have not read the other books in this series, I felt that I didn’t need to; I loved this story of these two.

A really great story and would recommend this to everyone.
