I have a crush on my boss's best friend.
At least it's not my brother's best friend.
Or my best friend's brother.
Or... Never mind. It's all pretty cliché.
And
worse? My boss's best friend is his business partner. Which sort of
makes him my boss too. Okay, it's not sort of. It's definite. Gabe
Laurent is off limits.
Totally off limits.
Which is fine. I make do with my imagination. He'll never know. Ever.
Unless my work bestie passes me an eighties-style teen-movie sex quiz during a meeting. And I fill it out.
And it ends up in Gabe's hands.

I love emotional books. I love dark, mysteries, suspense and spend
most of my reading time reading them.
That is why I’m so grateful to writers like Jana Aston who evoke
emotions with a laugh. Fling is a short,
seventy-four-page novella that is packed
full of laughs and romance.
Fling expands on the set-up Everly and
Chole plan in Right. Sandra stares
longingly at Gabe Laurent for the past year.
She dreams about hooking up with him but knows it is only a dream
because Gabe is a CFO and part owner of the company where she works. Sandra is the assistant to the president of
the Clems Corporation, Sawyer, Gabe’s
best friend.
I love Jana’s lighthearted romances. I
love the characters she creates. Her
main characters are loveable characters and her support characters add
beautifully to the story. Preston is
Sandra’s best friend who encourages her
in an annoyingly funny way.
There is nothing better than a few
giggles while reading and I like how Ms. Aston manages to make my stomach flip
with butterflies while I’m laughing.
This is a must read, and it can
fit into even the most hectic life. Fling
is a standalone novella calling your name.
