Violet Cole who works as a paralegal has had things happen in her past that has made her not want to date or be involved with anyone, well except in her mind that is which is quite diverse and very enjoyable.

We also have Adam Stone, phew, he is just so enticing, you are literally drawn to him, the way he commands everything about him actually makes you pull more towards him and his persona. Adam however, likes to keep his relationships at arms length, never letting anyone get too close.

While reading this story you do like both these characters in their own way, they have that way about them that you enjoy reading about them and wanting to know more about them.

I loved how EG Patrick has Adam and Violet meet, it is just so different but just felt so right. It is obvious they have that instant connection, however, Violet’s insecurity makes her wonder what Adam would ever see in her and takes some time to understand that he would want a relationship with her. There are things they have to address but then again that is not knew in any relationship. Adam though has to deal with his past and in order to get their relationship to the next level all avenues of their pasts will have to be addressed.

The only disappointment I had was this was a cliffhanger and I did want to read more and find out what would happen.

You'll never guess where Violet and Adam meet! Quite literally, they bump into each other in a revolving door. Their instant attraction is obvious, but Violet can't imagine that someone of Adam's stature would consider her romantically. As their relationship continues, it is obvious that the two will eventually have to deal with Adam's past and their conflicting relationship needs.
