Narrated by Jo Raylan & Christian Fox
Control
Burn
Until you surrender yourself to me fully, I will not touch you.
Until the world can know you belong to me, I will not kiss you.
I'm going to be inches away, at your side. I'm going to whisper in your ear and put my breath on your neck, but the heat of my skin will not feel the shudder of yours until you commit yourself to me completely.
Resist
I forgave him despite my misgivings. I loved him just because I did.
My heart wasn't sensible or guarded enough. Not by a sight. I was a walking raw nerve ending of emotion, as if the years I'd spent away from men and sex had made me more emotional, more vulnerable, more foolish.
I ran my fingers through his hair, feeling like the victim of a crime of consent.
Bravo CD Reiss with this amazing audio of the next set of your Songs of Submission audible books. The narration that both Jo Raylan and Christian Fox have done is way above anything I have heard in the past. The way the emerge themselves as the characters is breathtaking and outstanding.
I have loved the series in paperback and when Songs of Submission audible book 1 came out I had to have it to hear what it was like. Needless to say I was blown away there and then with not only this compilation but with the narrator Jo Raylan's voice. She was hypnotic.
Songs of Submission audible book 2 - Control, Burn, Resist is simply WOW.
The words I use to express how good this series is will never be enough to truly convey how good it is.
If you have read the books and wondered about the audio, go for it, I promise you, there will be no dissapointment.
If you have never read the books, then go get them, you will never want to put them down. They are just that good.

CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up, she's at the well, hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
Critics have dubbed the books "poetic," "literary," and "hauntingly atmospheric," which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she's some sort of braggart who's too good to chop a cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
