This is a new author to me and I was very pleased to be asked to read this for an honest review.

These words for me summed up the whole book, the dilemma, the pain, the heartache, the need and desire.  So poignant
“I wanted to live, really live before I die. I wanted to know what it feels like to be loved by the man of my dreams.
Levi was the man I couldn't live with, and Grant was the man I couldn't live without”

This was such a strong emotionally charged book, based on real life, some of you may wonder why the author would write this kind of book but honestly until you read it you can’t understand what she was going through.  It was hard going at times and it broke my heart as well but well worth reading.

We all go through life thinking about the mistakes we have made, the choices in our lives but in this story it is so clear from the outset that Levi was not the right man for CJ. Grant was her soulmate which was obvious from the moment you saw the interaction between them. You immediately feel drawn to Grant and CJ working out; you want this for them, for them to be happy.

Nothing is ever easy in life and at the time when CJ and Levi are having the difficulties you do feel like an observer into their lives a voyeur into their arguments and that was not easy to read, I found those to be the hardest parts of the book, however, I believe that these needed to be written into the book as if not you would not get the full story and understand the feeling/emotions behind the arguments.  I must admit at these times I did feel for Levi, clinging to his love for his wife and wishing he could get her love back, but I was rooting for CJ as I am a firm believer that if something is not right then there is no point in carrying on with it.  You need to make a clean break and get on with your life.  CJ knew herself that Levi was not the ONE and she was brave enough to do something about it.

The thing is with Soulmates is that once you find yours, no matter where you are or how much time goes by, you will always find them again and once you do, never let them go.  This was the way it was with Grant and CJ, time passed, but no matter where they were or how much time apart they had to bear, they made their way back to each other ~ True Soulmates

I must admit, Grant is a real gentleman, he is what everyone would want in a man and it was lovely to see these two interact again.  Yes there were sexy times but the good thing was CJ did not flaunt it in your face all the time, neither did she or Grant connect while she was still in the marital home which showed me the respect CJ still had for her home, Levi and her marriage. I loved how Grant respected her for that.

CJ has her insecurities, who wouldn’t, unsure if Grant will really commit to her after all this time, if his love for her is as strong as her love for him is.  It is a hard time for her and to be honest, I would be the same in her shoes.

I don’t normally give my followers the ending of any book I read for review but I felt with this one, I needed to reassure everyone that CJ does get her HEA, her dreams do come true and it is lovely, there is love out there, there can be HEA if you are willing to reach for them.

DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS & DESIRES – that is what this book showed to me.
