This book has me go through so many emotions as I read it I literally felt I was living all the experiences. Having dealt with some of the issues in this story in my own family, I felt such a draw to this story and the family.

From the prologue of this story, I was captured by how good this would be, I had no doubt in my mind that this story would blow me away and I was not wrong. The prologue is just the setting for what transpires to be an amazing, heart-breaking but soul searching journey for this family.

Crew, bless him, he is such an amazing character, I dare anyone not to fall in love with him. He is the type of guy who would do anything for the one he loved, he loves his family and his little brother like no other and would do die for him if needs be. Crew is so amazing, he has a caring way about him and yes he can be a bit of a douche at times but you can overlook that once you start reading about him. Not to mention that Crew was SUPER HOT he sizzled.

Caleb, Crew’s younger brother has been unfortunately sick since he was young and no matter how hard Crew and his mother try and get help for Caleb nothing is working, they have tried everything, every doctor, hospital, medicine and just don’t know what to do next to ease Caleb’s suffering and to give Caleb a normal life. Crew shows us he would do anything for his mother and brother and unlike normal kids, he does not have the normal social life, and he can only see what his family needs and goes about trying to get that for them. I was blown away by this guy and just how much he would do and it made my heart ache when either he or Caleb were upset.

It is later we meet Hudson, a gorgeous girl who does everything for everyone, always putting the others first. Crew is instantly attracted to Hudson and her to him. Hudson I loved, her character was just so lovely, beautiful inside and out. She cared for Caleb, Crew and their mother and it was lovely to read the interaction between them all. Hudson loves to help people heal and that was her aim with Caleb and to help out this family’s suffering. I loved how much time Hudson spent with this family and got to know them and enjoyed being in their company, the way she was just amazed me, truly it was wonderful to read of someone so selfless. It touched my heart and made me wish more people were like Hudson.

I know many people will probably like the same quotes in the book as I have but this one below just shows me that Crew didn’t go to this place looking for love, his main concern was his brother but you could not miss the attraction between Crew and Hudson and when the sparks did fly, boy was it truly magical.

The book is called Spark, and there were some sparks flying around in this story, it truly lived up to the name of the book. The intensity these two felt for each other was electricity itself.

I love Erin Noelle’s writing and this book has just made me have a full on FANGIRL crush on her.

I would recommend this book to everyone, you will not be disappointed or let down.
