Paisley Bronson is a 27 year old successful advertising professional, but the most exciting part of her life happens outside of work. Claiming the life of a tag chaser toward the end of her college career has taught her one thing - never get too close. She has enjoyed her dating lifestyle, but when her best friend makes a bet that she won't ever be able to date a normal guy, her competitive nature takes control and she vows to change the game.
When Paisley meets the incredibly handsome and practically perfect Corbin Ray, she begins to think keeping her word might be easier than she thought. But when an accidental discovery reveals that Corbin is in the Army, she knows she must run the other way and never look back. Although it kills her, she aims to move on and look for a new prospect.
There's just one small problem.
Paisley's been assigned a new client at work, and his name is Corbin Ray.
Will Paisley and Corbin give in to the chemistry between them, or will their past and present complications keep them apart?
Immerse yourself in this fun and irresistibly naughty game of cat and mouse.
Song Chaser:
For more than a year, Tanner West has tried to shake his feelings for his long time best friend, Paisley Bronson. She was the perfect girl to fit the lyrics in all his favorite songs – the girl he had always wanted. When she fell in love with another man before Tanner had the chance to tell her how he felt, he was left with no resolve to find love again. Burying himself in school and easy girls has become his new lifestyle, but when Kellee Brooks shows up at his favorite bar, he begins to think there may be another verse to his song, after all.
Kellee Brooks moved to New York City for one thing: escape. Growing up in a small town where her entire life was planned out for her, she’s desperate to break free and find herself without following the same path as her mom. Kellee thought working at the local dive bar would mean more money for school, but when she meets the smoldering, scarred honey eyes of Tanner West, she finds there’s much more hiding in the smoky building than just a few tips.
With Paisley still haunting Tanner and Kellee vowing to save anyone the trouble of loving her, will the pain and fear keep them apart – or will they find a way to rewrite their song together?
Break free with this heartbreaking story of letting go and letting love in.
Straight No Chaser:
Tanner West has been through a lot when it comes to his best friend, Paisley Bronson. From being there through her dark past to falling in love with her while she fell for someone else, their story is far from perfect. After Tanner found his true love in Kellee Brooks, things began to fall into place. But when Paisley calls Tanner with surprising news, asking him to step up to the best friend plate once again, he must decide if he's up for the challenge.
This is a short story bromance and should be read after Tag Chaser and Song Chaser.

Tag Chaser
This book is a very sweet read. It is a fun book about captivating,
everyday people who struggle to deal with the cards dealt them in the area of
love, friends and family.
Paisley is a young, attractive woman that men are drawn to
but she pushes them away because of a past hurtful relationship. Instead of dating locals she is a “tag
chaser”--a woman who will only date active military men. Why you ask?
Men with a dog tag don’t hang around long. There are no
commitments and, therefore no broken hearts. This is the type of relationship
that Paisley is comfortable in.
Corbin Ray is the man who comes into Paisley’s life and
plans to make Paisley his girl. It isn’t an easy task, as Paisley
pushes him away every chance she gets, but Corbin is determined and fights hard
to open Paisley’s eyes to what they can have. Paisley wants to get close
with Corbin but he is in the military and Paisley just made a bet with her best
friend that she can stop her tag chasing ways.
She doesn’t want to lose her bet.
I really like this book.
Ms. Steiner knows how to write a love story. The characters are delicious. The women are strong and the men are some of
the best. Paisley’s two friends Tanner
and McKenzie are the kind of friends everyone wants. They support Paisley in good times and bad
and move the story forward. The reader will have a little anxiety but it
wasn’t the constant back and forth I want you, No I don’t want you that is so
popular in romance books.
You really want to read this book. It is the perfect way to relax and enjoy an
afternoon or evening. The book is well
written and flows smoothly. You won’t be
disappointed.
SONG CHASER
Song Chaser, book two of The Chaser series, is Tanner’s
story and my favorite book in the series.
From the jump the story grabs the readers’ heart and won’t let go. Tanner carries a torch for Paisley, his best
friend. He always thought they would get
together but Paisley loves Corbin. Poor Tanner
pines away for Paisley and the friendship that is so important to him. He doesn’t know how to move on until Kellee
walks into his life.
There are so many things that I like about this book. First and foremost is Tanner. I love him in Tag Chaser but, in this book,
he jumps right off the pages and into my heart big time. He is everything a girl, and woman, dreams about. He is smart, hot, compassionate, hot, a good
son who worships his father and did I mention hot. I really, really like this guy. Tanner’s parents are beautiful characters that I love. It is so refreshing to have a hero's parents so loving and proud of their son. I thoroughly enjoy the time Tanner spends with his family. It is a very loving family scene.
Kellee, like Paisley, is a strong heroine. She compliments Tanner’s character
perfectly. I love when the female
characters are strong determined women. Kellee has issues (don't we all) but she isn't afraid to stand up for herself.
One of the best support characters in the book is Kellee’s
grandmother. She made me laugh and I
love the way she helps Kellee make good decisions. The scenes with Kellee and her grandmother are a joy to read.
It is an added bonus that we get into both Kellee and Tanner’s head
with the chapters alternating between both points of view. It adds so much to the story knowing what
each character is feeling and thinking.
Their love story is a journey that the reader shares with these two, It isn’t always easy but it is a learning adventure. There are times
that are gut wrenching and times that are absolutely loving and everything in between.
I really like the music theme that runs through the
book. Music holds a lot of memories for
Tanner but those memories are mostly associated with events that he shared with Paisley. Now he is trying to write a new tune that
will be Kellee. Finally let me say that I like that that the
characters are everyday people. They are
people you might run into at work or around the neighborhood. They aren't the unattainable billionaire but a love that everyone of us can find.
Well done Kandi Steiner!

Chaser: A Short Story Bromance (Chasers)
Another great book by Kandi Steiner. Paisley is back with a request for Tanner—plan
Corbin’s bachelor party. This is a short
novella that continues the story of Paisley and Corbin and Tanner and
Kellee.
You must read these books and I hope there is more in the
future. I want another Tanner and Kellee
book at least.
These are must read books.
Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).
When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.
