Blurb

In this Brotherhood you live or die by the three-piece patch. For Hold Dawson, Vice-President of the Hells Highwaymen Motorcycle Club, it’s not just black ink tattooed on his body, but the religion he worships, and the law that governs his life. Nothing else matters. Family by choice and not by blood. More sacred than a shared name. Bound by respect. Loyal to death.
Unity. Respect.
Love. Devotion.
Forever.

But there’s another side to this life. One the President, Hold’s own father, lives and regulates by.

Merciless. Wrathful.
Murderous. Dishonest.
Lethal.

It’s blood in and blood out and only one man gets to be king.

WOW just WOW BRILLIANT IS THE ONLY WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS BOOK

It is no secret that I have loved everything that Nicole Reed has ever written but I have to say without a doubt this book by Nicole blew me away.

Hell’s Ink takes up seamlessly from Beautiful Ink.  There was no re-reading involved.  From chapter 1 the book flowed effortlessly and I was hooked from the first moment I started reading until the very last page.

I loved Beautiful Ink, it was the first MC book I had ever written and was desperate to read this next instalment of this series and I was not disappointed.

Hold Dawson, the Vice Prez of Hells Highwayman had issues to deal with from the woman who left him broken and beaten to life of the Vice Prez of the club.  Life was not going to be easy for Hold.   He had friendships to re-build and wounds to heal. The Brotherhood that was the Hells Highwayman had problems and it was up to Hold and a few other followers to deal with these problems for the sake of the club.  These problems and issues would ultimately bring drama & betrayal but would it bring closure, acceptance and understanding these are things that Hold needed to survive.

I loved the dynamics of Hold, I admit in Beautiful Ink I was not his fan but in this his story, I saw the pain, anguish and hurt he dealt with on a daily basis.  I also saw the capacity he had to love, to do the right thing by people and I fell hook line and sinker in love with this man.

The way Nicole has written this book is breathtaking; she not only tells the story of Hold & Mikey his best friend but of every character with a few new ones along the way.

The story has been written is so well you can actually feel the pain, the drama but also the love and compassion there is and although sometimes gritty and a complete OMG moment, you can’t put this book down.

Hold goes through so many emotions in this book but what he is not prepared for is to fall in love again.  He has been down that road and didn’t want to go through it to get hurt again but Shyla is a different kettle of fish.  She is determined, strong, loving and see’s Hold for who he is and loves him unconditionally, sure there are obstacles but that makes the story more real to me.  Hold finds he can talk to Shyla which is a huge step for him.

“I’ve never told another livin soul any of this. Hels was my friend and I failed her in every way a person can fail someone.  That’s why I tried to keep you away, not wantin to draw you into this life, at least until everythin had settled” Boy I just swooned all over Hold her, he just opened up so much to Shyla which just showed me his compassionate and caring side.

Shyla herself has been through a considerable amount of pain and drama in her young life so in some ways I felt she could relate to Hold, she gained her strength from her past and that will hold her sold through life “Her ex had hurt her over and over because she’d allowed him that power.  Shyla wouldn’t put herself in that type of situation, to give herself away unless the other person wanted her more”  This statement in itself showed me how strong this girl was and I found myself mentally high five-ing her and saying out loud “Way to go girl”

I can’t stress enough how good this book is.  This series is one you can go back to read over and over again and never get tired of it.

Way to go Nicole, another amazing read
