They say when you take revenge against another you lose a part of your innocence. But I’m not innocent. I haven’t been for a very long time. My innocence was stolen from me. Taken was the life I was supposed to have. The soul I was born with. The ruby heart embedded in a life full of hopes and dreams. Gone. Vanished. I never even had a choice. I mourn that life. Mourn the what-ifs. Until now. I’m ready to take back what was always meant to be mine. But every plan has a fatal flaw. Sometimes it’s the heart.
**Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.**

What to say about BANG? There is really no way to do this book justice in a review. It is one of those books you absolutely have to experience for yourself. It is a total mindfuck. Just when you think that you have a pretty good grasp on how everyone is connected and what is going on something else is mentioned and you are sent right back into the tailspin you had just recovered from.
BANG is a whirlwind of interconnectivity and secrets. There are so many subtle nuances that, I'm pretty sure, you could read it a million times and never pick up on all of the Easter Eggs that EK has included in the story.
I literally can not say anything else about this book without intruding on the experience of reading yourself. You truly have to go into this book completely blind, or you will miss out on so much of the madness that you need to undergo to completely understand these incredibly complex characters, plots, and subplots.
