His name was Joshua Carter. Now it's whatever she wants it to be.

She is a Deliverer.

Delivering is all she knows.

The one thing she can't deliver is a captive from slavery.

Until him.

And her stubborn slave thinks he can deliver her...from herself.

Holy CRAP!! What the hell was that I just read?!!
Pam Godwin, your mind is a sick, twisted, evil motherfu8king place to be but I bloody love it!!

I thought I liked dark reads. Thought of myself as quite tough and hardened.
Then I read Deliver.
And my feeling and senses were really put to the test.
My boundaries were totally pushed to the very limits and I was left reeling, repulsed and a little turned on at some of these scenes. Now, that really is a myriad of emotion to feel all at the same time and a little difficult to process!
I actually don't know how Pam does it...
The lead female Liv, should have pulled nothing but contempt and hatred from me. But I felt nothing but admiration and compassion for her. How is that even possible? She kidnaps people. Breaks them. Violates them in the worst ways possible...but I still have utter respect for her. C.R.A.Z.Y!!
Don't even get me started on Josh. Joshua Carter.
The pale green eyes boy that has been taken from his cozy life. Seemingly happy. Seemingly content.
Thrust into a world of slavery and  debased to some of the lowest levels, it's a wonder anyone would survive.

“Don’t you see how wrong I am? I’m a kidnapper. A murderer. A fucking monster.”

“I see all of you.” He wrapped his arms around her and pressed his lips to her temple. “I claim every jagged piece of you.”

Their story is exactly that. A tale of survival and strength. It is so multi faceted, so beautifully detailed and intricately carved that you get lost in the depth of feeling. Even if that feeling is one of disgust or repulsion, followed by gut wrenching affection in the most unusual of places between the most unsuspecting of people.

I should have known that Pam would really do a number on me. I am not the hardened dark lit lover that I thought I was and this certainly pushed me to my very limits. But, there's just something so lyrical about the way Pam Godwin weaves a story that doesn't let you stop reading even when the going gets tough!

Pam, you have a little piece of my soul! Even if you did make me question my morality!
