When Marc d’Alessio first rescued the curvaceous and spirited Italian Angelina Giardano at the Masters at Arms Club, he never expected her to turn his safe controlled life upside down and pull at his long-broken heartstrings. Months later the intense fire of their attraction still rages but something holds him back from committing to her completely. Worse, secrets and memories from his past join forces to further complicate his relationships with family, friends, and his beautiful Angel.
Angelina cannot give all of herself to someone who hides himself from her. She loves Marc, the BDSM world he brought her into, and the way their bodies respond to one another but she needs more. Though she destroyed the wolf mask he once wore, only he can remove the mask he dons daily to hide his emotions. In a desperate attempt to break through his defenses and reclaim her connection to the man she loves, she attempts a full frontal assault that sends him into a fast retreat, leaving her nobody’s angel once again.
Marc finds that running to the mountains no longer gives him solace but instead leaves him empty and alone. Angelina is the one woman worth the risk of opening his heart. Will he risk everything to become the man she deserves and the man he wants to be?

Kallypso Masters writes emotional, realistic
Romance novels with dominant males (for the most part) and the strong women who
can bring them to their knees. She also has brought many readers to their
knees—having them experience the stories right along with her characters in the
Rescue Me series. Kally knows that Happily Ever After takes maintenance, so her
couples don’t solve all their problems and disappear at “the end” of their
Romance, but will continue to work on real problems in their relationships in
later books in the series.
Kally has been writing full-time since May 2011
and Somebody’s Angel is her fifth
book in the series, preceded by Masters at Arms & Nobody’s Angel (#1 and
#2), Nobody’s Hero (#3); and Nobody’s
Perfect (#4).
Kally lives in rural Kentucky and has been
married for 30-1/2 years to the man who provided her own Happily Ever After.
They have two adult children, one adorable grandson, and a rescued dog and cat.
Kally enjoys meeting readers at national
romance-novel conventions, book signings, and informal gatherings (restaurants,
airports, bookstores, wherever!), as well as in online groups (including
Facebook’s “The Rescue Me Series Open Discussion” secret group—to join, send a
friend request to Karla Montague (https://www.facebook.com/karla.montague.1)

Q&A with Kallypso Masters
1. Is Somebody's Angel the last of the Rescue Me Series or will there be more?
Oh, dear Lord, no. Not the last by a long shot! lol I think I'll be writing in this series for 20 years at least. I mean, look where I've left poor Luke in the last book (and he's not much further along by the end of Somebody's Angel, either). I’ll start his book next year (although Cassie already is telling me I'd better do something about him NOW). Then, in no particular order, a holiday novella with Adam and his new family, Mistress Grant, Gunnar Larsen (the Dom who trained Damian to be a whip master and sadist service top), Patrick Gallagher, Dr. McKenzie, Rosa (Damian's sister), oh, the list goes on and on. Of course, I'm getting requests for Rescue Me: the Next Generation, too. As you can see, there will be no end as long as I can still write! I'm also planning a historical Western in the series, with Johnny Montague and Kate Gannon. That'll be an interesting challenge! It will follow Patrick's book, whenever I get to it. Hope you'll stick with me on this journey!
2. Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Since at least the 8th grade, I wanted to be a journalist. But I was so shy (I kid you not!) that, when my first assignment freshman year was to interview the principal for the high school newspaper, I froze and quit working for the paper. But I wrote romances for fun during high school and for decades after. I had a rough childhood and being able to read a romances and watch characters go through all kinds of hell, but still find that person who would love them unconditionally and watch them get to their happily ever after, gave me hope for my own chance at love. I wanted to write stories like that, too!
I joined a national romance writers organization in the early 1990s, but could never finish a novel. Still don’t know what that was about, but I think the Romance genre went downhill for me when New York publishers stopped allowing writers to write the “bodice rippers.” I loved the capture fantasies of the 1970s and early 1980s.
Then I went back to college, earned a degree in journalism in 2001 (at 44—never too late), and went to work as an editorial assistant at a local college. When I discovered erotic romance in spring 2009, suddenly I was able to finish a book. The second I finished (in May 2009) was Nobody’s Angel, but I didn’t do anything with it. Work took over and got rather stressful for two years. But I had found my niche!
Two years later, I quit my job and a month later, I wrote Masters at Arms. And the rest is history!
