This is Teeny and Trips story.
There's always been a connection between these guys even very early on. For years they skirted around each other. Unsure of the dynamic, and not wanting out themselves out there for fear of rejection.
They have both had a pretty tough time growing up. Both in different ways, and although some of their reactions to situations you wanted to bang their heads together, their inner monologue totally explained their reasoning behind said reaction and was totally feasible.
The one time they give into their carnal lust filled feelings, it creates a baby and sets up a whole scenario that neither could have imagined.
They're torn between wanting each other and not feeling worthy of love and happiness.
Teeny tries to keep a close guard on her heart. Keeping Trip at arms length and continuing to be fiercely independent, she keeps pushing him away knowing he is capable of irreparable damage to her heart if he manages to sneak in. Little does she know that he's already creeping into the tiny cracks. Each encounter they have is hotter than the last and each time he manages to lower her defenses just a little more.
Despite being a snarky bitch and not being able to see what's right in front of her, I really liked her. I usually feel very impartial to the female leads, even Scarlet from Tattered love wasn't quite as endearing as Teeny. She's honest, real and I felt her character was well balanced in order to appreciate her feelings.
Trip is a totally drool worthy male lead to compliment Teeny.

Check, check, check!! He has it all.
He steps right up to the plate even though it wasn't the way he thought life would take him. He doesn't give in when Teeny pushes him away. He's there every time she needs pickles at midnight, he even carries tissues everyplace they go just in case her hormones fire off and make her cry for no reason. Perfect man!
Don't mistake all these kindhearted gestures as weaknesses. Oh no, he gives as good as he gets. His tongue is just as sharp as Teeny's and their exchanges are hilarious. I swear if I had friends like these two, i'd invite them round just to watch them bicker. It's so damn cute. You also know that Trip will make it up with scorching hot make-up sex and it'll leave you tingling from the top of your head to the tips of your toes!
This book left my heart happy and my panties a little wet.
If Lola's writing keeps getting better (as I think it will) the best is yet to come.

Twenty minutes late and running out of patience I reached in quickly undid her belt and picked her up, ignoring her squeal of surprise I pulled her purposefully flush against me one hand full of lush ass the other on her hip.
Lowering my head to her neck I took a deep breath in, catching the soft vanilla scent of her blonde hair taking as much as I could get I gently bit her earlobe then ran my lips over the same spot.
“Don’t push me, Princess. I’m clear out of give a fucks and my dick's so hard it could hammer nails. Move that sweet ass before I bend it over and fuck it into oblivion” I growled in her ear driving the point home with a quick swat to her ass.
Making sure her feet were on the ground I let go and stalked for the house adjusting my now very tight in the crotch jeans. I also didn’t miss the soft moan from Teeny before she cleared her throat and mumbled something about assholes and penis trucks then stomped up the sidewalk.
