NIKKI'S 5 STAR REVIEW
This is Kate and Zanders story. It can easily be read as a
Stand-alone but for full effect I recommend you read Temporary Bliss to meet
the whole gang from the beginning. There are appearances from Mac and Daniel in
True Bliss which makes my heart VERY happy! I love these guys!
As much as I loved all the characters that we discovered in
Temporary bliss, ‘True Bliss wasn’t the one I was most excited for. Well, I
really shouldn’t underestimate the power BJ Harvey has to bring characters to
life and make you fall in love with them! True Bliss is AWESOME! It’s longer,
so more to get your teeth into and I just fell in love with Kate and Zander
from the first few pages.
I always loved Kate, she’s sassy, funny and the best, best
friend a girl (or guy) could want. I love her snarky comments and hilarious one
liners and I also love how the fun time girl persona didn’t overshadow the fact
that there was a sweet vulnerable girl underneath that just wanted her Happy
ever after. She has kisses her fair share of frogs, and dammit, none of them
are turning into princes. Her inner dialogue was hilarious, she made me smile
on almost every page from her witty comments and sexy musings.

Zander, the wannabe cop by day, hot bod stripper by night is fed up of meaningless couplings. He wants to find ‘The one’. He is a total sweetheart and growing up with 3 sisters and his Mom, he is totally in tune to the way women think, and is the perfect gentleman because of that. Don’t let my gentleman comment fool you, he is H.A.W.T!! Oh god is he hot! Dirty mouthed and with a penchant for sexual encounters outdoors, his story always lent itself to the possibility of being ‘way off the chart’ sexy, and I was not disappointed. BJ Harvey either has a VERY active imagination or that girl has been shown some moves! In fact I think this is the HOTTEST story she has written to date.

I love they way these two come together, they were made for each other. The just fit. Emotionally, physically, characteristically. Perfect. I understood every feeling, action and reaction and it is very clear from this instalment in the 'Bliss' series that BJ's writing continues to grow with each page and each book gets better. This makes my day 'cos you know what comes next? Seans story. Oh yeah baby, bring on the DOM!! BJ get your write on girl!!!
This series is the perfect rainy day read. Snuggled under a
blanket for a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon-Just the right amount

But that’s definitely not what I want, and I’m determined, so I grab the laptop off the coffee table in front of me and boot it up, bringing up the Chicago Singles website and logging in. I see a reminder that my date with Roger has come and gone. How insightful, little website. Can you also tell when the date is full of shit and boring as hell because that could have saved me a hell of a lot of effort!
I check to see whether Boring Roger has rated our date yet, and almost spit out my mouthful of wine when I see he rated it four out of five hearts. What the fuck! He must be more deluded that I thought. That date was a dull as dishwater. The only thing exciting about it was my brief encounter with Zander across the bar. And as embarrassing as that was, he still managed to get a way hotter response from my body than Roger could ever achieve.
